Am I biased because I know what tapas is meant to be: small plates of beautifully cooked food? Well, then I am, but this chef and the waiting staff really know how to serve up delicious food. A deal for two at 35 could never be interpreted as overpriced. This place is a must, but don’t expect piles of average food.

Chose Solero randomly whilst walking round Brighton. Absolute gem of a place,great service,excellent food and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Well worth a visit if you love tapas.

I was longing for some really nice tapas and this place delivered. Really cosy environment and welcoming staff which could make you think you were in Spain! The tapas were regular tapas size and the quality was excellent. I especially loved the cod fritters, the cheese and the Spanish omelette. All dishes were very good but loved these the most. Would visit again!

On a busy Friday night in Brighton I stumbled on Solera. There was a rare outside table and I needed food before a gig... so I sat down and ordered. Going for a bottle of house white Rioja coupled with garlic ‘fries’, fried goats cheese and sherry chorizo I sat back and waited... but only for three minutes for the wine (which is lovely and perfectly acceptable) and another 5-6 mins for the food. Which. Was. Delicious. The fries I’d expected to be chips... but they were lovely little potato cubes covered in a tasty garlic sauce. The Chorizo was generous and sat in a really rich sherry sauce. And the goats cheese... well I could have eaten it all night long!!! This isn’t a ‘cheap as chips option’ but if you want to spoil yourself... this is the place...

Amazing experience at Solera Tapas! The food is absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors and top quality. The vibe is great—super cozy and perfect for a night out with friends or a date. The service is awesome too, really friendly and attentive. No doubt, I’ll be back soon! Highly recommended!
